After a multi-year project, the Munising School Public Library is very pleased to announce the launch of an historic digital archive at the library. This archive contains the digital images of all of the library's holdings of historic newspapers, maps, yearbooks and photos and is fully indexed and searchable using state of the art Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This means that patrons can come into the library and within minutes find articles in the historical newspapers and yearbooks in PDF format by searching with a keyword or two. All library computers have the archive available so there is no more waiting for the microfilm reader. Stop in today for a demonstration of this amazing resource, available only at the Munising School Public Library!
